Child Safety Standards
In vigore dal 9 August 2026
Our position
TwoUp! is an application exclusively for adults aged 18 and over. Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) is prohibited in our service without exception and without tolerance. This is not a formality: the app exists to help people meet in person, and services like that must be actively protected against abuse, not merely covered by terms.
Who may register
- The app is intended only for people aged 18 and over.
- Date of birth is collected during registration and an account for a minor cannot be created — the check happens before registration is completed.
- If we find that an account belongs to a person under 18 — whether from a report or from our own review — we delete the account and its data.
What is prohibited
The following conduct and content lead to immediate account termination and, depending on the nature of the case, to a report to law enforcement:
- any content depicting child sexual abuse (CSAM), including drawn, AI-generated or otherwise non-photographic material;
- contacting a child with sexual intent (grooming), including attempts to obtain intimate material;
- extortion using intimate material (sextortion);
- human trafficking and the offering of sexual services;
- impersonating a minor, or a profile depicting a minor;
- sharing contacts or links leading to such content outside the app.
How we prevent it
Automated photo moderation
Every uploaded photo is checked for inappropriate content (Google Cloud Vision). If the check flags the content — or if the check cannot be performed for any reason — the photo is not published. This default is deliberate: we would rather withhold a photo we are unsure about than publish content that was never checked.
Contact details are blocked in profiles
Phone numbers, e-mail addresses and links to social networks are blocked in profile text. This limits moving conversations off the platform, where we can no longer review content.
Text-first rule
Photos can only be sent in a conversation after several messages have been exchanged both ways.
Photos from conversations are not public
Only the other participant in that conversation can access them, enforced on the server, not merely in the app.
How to report a child safety concern
Reports can be made directly in the app, from three places:
- on a profile while browsing — the ⋯ menu in the top-right corner of the card → Report and block;
- in a conversation — the menu in the top right → Report and delete;
- at any time via ☰ → Information → Report a problem or content.
Reports can also be sent by e-mail to [email protected].
Submitting a report automatically blocks the reported account for the person reporting, so they cannot be contacted again while we investigate.
What happens after a report
- The report is stored and remains stored even after the reported account is deleted, so that a removed user cannot immediately return.
- We review the report. Reports concerning child safety take priority over all others.
- If confirmed, we terminate the account without warning and remove the content.
- We preserve the material and related data for the purpose of reporting to law enforcement.
Reporting to authorities
Content depicting child sexual abuse is reported to the competent authorities. In the Czech Republic this is the Police of the Czech Republic; in cases with a foreign element we cooperate with the competent authorities of the country concerned and with organisations that receive such reports. We cooperate with law enforcement requests to the extent required by law.
We comply with child safety legislation applicable in the countries where the app is available.
